Speakers Closing session: Gubernatorial Candidates Forum

Veteran TV and radio journalist John Henning will moderate a special Annual Meeting closing session featuring the candidates for governor in 2010.
Each candidate who attends the gubernatorial candidates forum will have an opportunity to address the audience individually and respond to questions from local officials. The candidates will not be on stage at the same time, as this event is not a debate format.
The MMA has invited the four major candidates for governor: incumbent Gov. Deval Patrick, a Democrat; the two Republican candidates, Charles Baker, a former CEO of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, and Christy Mihos, a former director of the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority; and independent candidate Tim Cahill, currently the state treasurer.
Henning has covered politics, business, and state government for decades and continues to do on-air political analysis and commentary for WBZ TV and radio. He now works as a senior advisor to Denterlein Worldwide, a public relations and public services firm in Boston.
